Google Docs

Our district utilizes Google Apps for Education for students, teachers, and staff. The following services are available to each student and hosted by Google as part of BSD’s online presence in Google Apps for Education: 

Mail – an individual email account for school use managed by BSD

Docs – a word processing, spreadsheet, drawing and presentation toolset that is very similar to Microsoft Office

In our class, we will be using Google Docs quite often. Students collaboratively create, edit and share files for school-related projects and communicate via email with other students and teachers. These services are entirely online and available 24/7 from any internet-connected computer. Here is the Google sign in / user name “formula”:

First initial, middle initial, last name, birth month (07, 12, etc.) @bsd48.org 

Example: mmmazzotta02@bsd48.org

For students without a middle initial, or whose middle initial was not provided on their enrollment forms:

First initial, last name, birth month@bsd48.org

Example: mmazzotta02@bsd48.org
